Meet Lucky One. He was surrendered to Texas Equine Angels 7/10/2015. Upon surrender we took him to the vet and she put him at 20-24 years young. He has a grade 1 heart murmur and a body score of a 1 out of 9. He's a gelding and surprisingly enough his feet had be done. He's had the complete work up and there are no parasites and no underlying issues. He was just not being fed properly or not at all. He is in foster care and is getting the loving treatment from a wonderful woman.
Meet Bourbon. He's a 15 year old gelding QH. Very sweet and is in recovery with us. He was an owner surrender and we are taking care to make sure his abscess is completely healed before he is adopted out. He is said to ride, but will be evaluated once he's healed. He will need a joint supplement for the remainder of his life. If you are interested in him, PLEASE go and get the Application and Adoption form and fill it out and get it back to us. Thank you for looking.
Meet Whiskey. She's a 2 year old Welsh/QH mix grade filly. We are helping another rescue in the area. She's halter broke, lead broke. She's current on everything and has a fresh Coggins. Farrier will be out 7/31/15 to do her feet. She's not broke to ride, but with a little time and training she will make a great little horse for that special kid.
Meet Keegan, a 7 year old Paint Stud (to be Gelded before being adopted). He was a bail out rescue from an individual. He's been taken to the vet and checked out. He's doing well and is UTD on everything now. He just needs some groceries.
He's only 14HH and will be a small guy. He will be up for adoption after we evaluate him and he is gelded. He's going to be a special guy for some rider.
